+ Q: Is there any cost to join?
A: No, the Mentorship Program is completely FREE thanks to our generous grantors and our amazing Mentors who are volunteering their time for YOU!
+ Q: What is in the Mentee Welcome Package?
A: Each year's welcome package will vary, but in the past it has included a MYPI t-shirt, custom pen, notebook, insulated water bottle, etc.
+ Q: Are the mentor monthly reports mandatory?
A: Yes they are mandatory, but don't worry, they are very short and simple. These reports help us make sure the program is meeting its goals, that our mentors and mentees are being taken care of, and to provide reporting stats for our grantors and sponsors who help fund the program keeping it FREE for everyone.
+ Q: What is the parents' involvement in the program?
A: Parents of mentees under 18 years old must be involved in the process and give permission for their child to be in the program. We encourage the mentors and parents to have open communication with each other about their expectations and goals for the mentorship, without being overbearing.
